Don't Cancel the Order

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation teaches that everything is either coming into form or fading out of it. All creation begins in the spiritual realm before it ever shows up in the physical. We engage in spiritual creation whenever we exercise our faith and vividly visualize our ideas, thoughts, and dreams.
Belief and gratitude act like accelerators in this process—while doubt and fear slam it into reverse. So if we want to speed things up, we need to increase our belief in the dream and eliminate every trace of fear and doubt.
A lot of us carry deep fears—fear of not having enough money, fear of poor health, or fear of not having strong, loving relationships. But when we focus on the lack, we unknowingly call more of it into our lives. That’s why we have to consciously choose to believe in our dreams, and let go of the fear of not having what we need.
Matthew 21:22 says, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” The act of asking in faith is the beginning of the creation process. But the moment we let fear or doubt creep in, we start to unravel the very thing we set in motion.
A lot of people say, “But I have asked. I keep asking, but what I want still isn’t showing up.” I like to compare this to ordering a pizza.
Let’s say you’re hungry, so you call and order a pizza. But then, you start to worry—what if it doesn’t get here in time? What if you can’t pay for it? What if you don’t like it after all? So, you cancel the order.
Then hunger hits again, so you call and reorder. And again, fear creeps in—what if something goes wrong? So you cancel again. And this cycle repeats 50 times.
Later that night, you’re still hungry, and completely frustrated. “I ordered 50 pizzas!” you say. “And none of them came! Why not?”
We do this with our prayers. We ask God for something, then cancel the request with our doubts and fears. And later, we wonder why we didn’t receive what we asked for.
Repetition is what strengthens belief. The more feeling and emotion you put behind it, the stronger it becomes. Belief, remember, is what speeds up the creation process.
Some people write their affirmations every day. That works for some. But I’ve found I get the best results when I say my statements out loud—because I can pack them with energy and emotion. I speak them with as much enthusiasm and passion as I can possibly muster.
The words you use matter too. To lock in belief and gratitude, I always begin with: “I am so happy and grateful now that...” The word now is key. It helps bring the dream into the present moment, instead of leaving it stuck out in some unreachable future.
Make your statement present-tense, detailed, and emotional.
Using the pizza example, you might say:
“I am so happy and grateful now that I am enjoying a freshly-baked, hot pepperoni pizza. The crust is baked to perfection, and I feel grateful, content, and fortified as I enjoy my pizza!”
Say it at least ten times, with as much joy and excitement as you can. Keep fear and doubt out. And before long, you won’t just be imagining that hot, perfect pizza—you’ll be eating it, and going to bed full and happy instead of frustrated and hungry.
