Achieving the Impossible - Case Study

Tyson Bradley’s Story:
When I first joined Leslie’s Achieving The Impossible program, I set the intention to apply all the concepts and laws she taught at a deeper level. I wanted to see how these laws could expand my business and help me achieve some big dreams — like writing a New York Times Bestselling book and building a business that easily made six figures a year.
I had a certain vision in mind of how it would all unfold. But shortly after starting, I hit my first roadblock.
At the time, my wife and I were living with my parents, waiting for the Utah real estate market to cool down. Our plan was to buy a home the following summer. But then, my mom lost her job and struggled to find another one. My dad had just retired and kept encouraging her to go on a mission for our church.
Long story short — my parents decided to sell their house, and we were suddenly forced to find a place to live much sooner than expected. It wasn’t what I wanted to focus on, but I chose to apply the principles I was learning to our house hunt. Every week on the Achieve the Impossible calls, I would share updates about our situation.
My wife and I made a list of everything we wanted in a home and searched relentlessly. But nothing seemed to fit. Feeling somewhat defeated, I finally told my wife we should just rent for a while and wait for new homes to be built. Searching for a house had consumed so much time and energy, and I was ready to move on.
The very next morning, my wife was reading her scriptures and felt prompted to check online for homes one more time. She found a listing and told me we should go look at it. I said, "I thought we decided we aren’t looking for houses!?" She knew — but still felt strongly we needed to see it. I contacted our realtor, who told us the owners were making a decision that day but would hold off so we could come.
Miracle #1.
I cleared my schedule and we went to see the house. It had almost everything on our list, but we didn’t get that “this is it!” feeling. Still, our realtor told us we’d need to submit an offer within two hours and suggested we offer $10k over asking to have a shot.
We drove to a nearby church and prayed. We both felt good about it — not an overwhelming "yes," but enough peace to move forward. I wasn’t willing to bid $10k over asking, but I offered $5k over and prayed, “If this house is meant for us, let this offer be accepted.”
Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. We hadn't written a letter to the sellers, and we hadn’t bid as aggressively as suggested.
The next day, as we were walking through Costco, our realtor texted: “They’ve accepted your offer!” I was stunned. Driving away from Costco, all I could think was, “Is this really happening?”
Miracle #2.
The next hurdle: paying for the house. Because I owned my own business and had just moved to Utah, getting a loan wasn’t easy. After working with several lenders, we found out we couldn’t get approved. Uh-oh. Thankfully, my parents agreed to co-sign — but gathering all their documentation while they were packing up their house was challenging.
Then, in another twist, my parents prayed about it and decided they would just pay for the house in cash, letting us live there while they served their mission — no loan payments for nearly two years.
Miracle #3.
Fast-forward a few months. We were settled into our new home, and I could finally focus more fully on my business. Things were going well, but I also felt prompted to volunteer as a temple worker on Wednesday mornings. A member of my ward who also volunteered offered to give me a ride each week.
After a few weeks, I got to know the other volunteers. One of them, a coach and mentor for high performers, invited me to lunch. Over that meal, he encouraged me to start writing my book.
I ended up hiring him as my coach. With his guidance, I finished the first draft of my book within four months — something I thought would take three years!
Even more incredible was how everything I had envisioned started to fall into place. I had written down a vision for how this book would come together, imagining:
"I’m so happy and grateful that all the best people came into my life to make the expansion of this book easy... All the right contractors, designers, videographers, editors, beta readers, influencers, marketers, campaign creators, assistants... They all came in exchange for being coached. They were converted to the mission of what I was building and wanted to be a part of it. I’m so grateful for them."
And guess what?

A designer friend agreed to create my book cover in exchange for coaching — and it turned out better than I could have done myself.

A videographer friend offered to help create videos for the launch.

My temple-ride friend turned out to be an excellent editor — and offered to edit my book for free.

Influencers started inviting me onto podcasts to talk about the book.
Everything I wrote out is happening.
It’s amazing. It’s inspiring. It’s motivating. It’s evidence of the work I’ve done in Achieve the Impossible. In fact, another miracle is that I’ve now been invited to teach a class within the program, sharing the powerful frameworks and tools that have helped me and my clients create real, lasting habits.
God is behind my work. The laws are supporting my work. The program accelerated my work. I’m so grateful I joined.
As for my future?
My vision is to launch the most applied book in the world.
Through this process, I realized that this first book may not be my New York Times Bestseller — yet — but it will be the book that actually changes lives. After all, what good is a bestseller if nobody reads or applies it?
