When Doors Close

The Law of Gender teaches that in nature, every kind of life requires both a male and female: one to plant the seed, and one to grow and nurture it. In the same way, our minds are the nurturers of seeds—ideas—that get planted from countless sources all around us. The Law of Gestation reminds us that every seed has a set time to grow and mature before it’s ready to bear fruit.
In 2005, I was living with my family in Arizona when circumstances required us to move to Idaho Falls. This meant a major shift in my career, and I found myself at a crossroads, unsure of what to do next. Then, almost like a lightning bolt, the idea came to me: I wanted to become a life success coach. The thought thrilled me—but I had no idea how to make it happen. At that point in my life, I didn’t feel like I’d achieved enough to stand in front of an audience and teach others. I figured I’d start by studying coaching and working to create success in my own life first. I also didn’t yet understand the laws of success.
Life was already challenging, but after our move to Idaho Falls, the challenges multiplied. In my search for success, I encountered more closed doors than open ones, and the frustration began to mount. I realized that nearly every part of my life was out of balance, so I set out to put the pieces back together.
That search led me to Leslie Householder’s Mindset Mastery course, where I learned the powerful principles—the laws—of success. As I began applying them, I saw real and measurable changes in multiple areas of my life. Things began to align, and my life started moving in harmony again.
Best of all, I rediscovered something I hadn’t felt in a long time: I was excited about life again.
