Wait 15 Minutes

The Law of Rhythm teaches that nature moves in cycles. There’s repetition in everything.

We see it all around us: in the movement of the planets, in the changing seasons, the ebb and flow of the tides—even in our own lives.

We have prosperous years, and we have challenging ones. Those years are made up of months—some easy, some not. The same happens with our days. Even moment to moment, things rise and fall.

There’s a saying here in Missouri: “If you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes—it’ll change.” Some days, it feels like we experience all four seasons before dinner!

Each of us has our own rhythm. Think about it—we feel good, then not so good. We cycle through different emotions again and again. When we don’t like how we’re feeling, we hope it’ll pass.

And thanks to the Law of Polarity, we know it will. Without sadness, we wouldn’t recognize joy. Without the hard, we wouldn’t fully appreciate ease.

But does that mean that if we’re feeling happy today, we should brace ourselves for tomorrow’s crash? If life is cyclical, should we expect the other shoe to drop just because we’re currently in a good place?

That would be an exhausting way to live—constantly anticipating the worst, even in our best moments.

And here’s the thing: if we expect a downturn, we shift our vibration toward it. We attract the very thing we fear.

Instead, what if we intentionally chose our thoughts? What if we leveraged the Law of Polarity in our favor? That law reminds us: even the hardest moments contain something extraordinary.

So when we’re low, we can trust that an upswing is coming. And when we’re high, we don’t need to fear the fall—we just need to recognize that what once thrilled us may someday feel ordinary. And that’s okay! That’s when we get to raise the bar. Let that “high” become our new “normal” and aim even higher.

It’s all good. Truly.
Trust the rhythm.
Look forward to feeling better—you don’t have to force it.
Nature already has it covered.
