The Ease of Success

When we set goals, we often assume it has to be hard—that success only comes through struggle. But I’ve learned the power of a carefully worded goal statement. One small word can shift everything. That word? Easily.

When I was just beginning to learn about goal-setting and dreaming, I started crafting a goal statement. I worked on it until it felt just right, printed it out, and kept it in my car so I could read it regularly. Saying it out loud felt awkward at first, but I followed the instructions in my course and did it anyway.

One Monday, while waiting to pick up my boys from school, I quickly read my goal statement before anyone could see me talking to myself. In it, I had written: “We easily attract those seeking for better health, more wealth, and a better way of life.”

The very next day, a neighbor called to thank me for teaching her class at church on Sunday. As we talked, she mentioned she was dealing with a serious back issue. I told her about the health products I’d been using through my business that had helped me tremendously. She was not only interested in the products—she was also excited about the business opportunity.

It wasn’t long before the “aha” moment hit me. It was the word easily. I already believed we could attract people who wanted to work with us, but it was through my mentor, Leslie Householder, that I realized why including the word easily mattered so much. Let’s be honest—we all want it to be “easy,” don’t we? I’m not afraid of hard work, but when the right people and opportunities flow to you easily, work becomes so much more joyful—and so much more effective.

Later, I called a friend to share what had happened. She immediately told me about her past few days: she’d attracted four people—no phone calls, no pushing—just bumped into them naturally. When you see how effortlessly the Law of Attraction can work, you honestly want to jump up and down with excitement.

The truth is, you can invite success into your life—whether that’s health, wealth, relationships, or anything else—and yes, it can happen easily.

So write down your goals. Choose your words carefully. BELIEVE in what you’re saying. BELIEVE you’re worthy of what you dream. BELIEVE it really can be easy—and you’ll begin attracting exactly what you want.
