Natural Results

Man-made laws are created by people in an attempt to shape behavior. Because they are inherently subjective and often inconsistent, they may or may not be enforceable—or even enforced. When these laws come into conflict with the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God, we begin to see what many refer to as “unintended consequences.” But those consequences aren’t truly unintended—they are simply the natural and inevitable outcomes that arise when man-made rules clash with eternal, unchanging truths.

In contrast, Universal Laws—or God’s Laws, as I prefer to call them—are unbreakable. We cannot break them; we can only break ourselves against them. These divine laws never contradict one another. Instead, they operate in complete harmony, supporting and reinforcing each other in a perfect system of order. You will never find a case where two of God’s laws are at odds, producing confusion or chaos. And I love the thought that, when we finally see the full picture on the other side of this life, we’ll realize that life really was fair all along—at least in regard to God’s laws and the natural order He established.

God doesn’t need to personally enforce His laws. As described in the apple analogy, when an apple detaches from a tree, God doesn’t intervene to push it to the ground—the Law of Gravity ensures it falls. Each of God’s laws carries its own enforcement mechanism. The law simply operates. The same principle applies to all Natural Laws.

In religious settings, we often hear references to the “wrath of God.” But lately, I’ve been questioning whether that’s the most accurate way to understand His nature. When people repeatedly choose evil—violating God’s laws to the point of collapse—is it really that God steps in with destruction? Or are they simply experiencing the natural consequences of their choices? Perhaps what we’ve labeled as “wrath” is really just cause and effect at work, consistent with divine law.

For me, the real reward of chasing a dream isn’t just the dream itself—it's the discovery of the laws that govern its attainment. As I uncover the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God that support the realization of any worthy pursuit, I gain power. I learn not only that these laws exist, but what they are, how they function, and how to apply them to my own goals. This knowledge empowers me to work with the laws of the universe—rather than against them—so I can more intentionally shape my surroundings, my conditions, and even my environment.

This increased awareness has a transformative effect on my day-to-day life:

  • I begin to recognize the cause-and-effect relationships behind my actions, and I move forward with greater intention.

  • My choices become less random and more purpose-driven.

  • I seek to identify which laws I need to focus on in order to most efficiently and effectively reach my goals.

  • This understanding removes the guesswork from my daily priorities—streamlining my path and aligning my effort with truth.
