Gratitude Before Arrival

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation teaches us that everything is either moving into physical form—or moving out of it.
When we stay focused on an idea, goal, creation, or desire, we’re actually helping the unseen, spiritual form of that desire begin to take shape in the physical world. Every time we give that thought focused, positive energy, it gets closer to us—and we get closer to it. As long as we hold a clear, detailed image of what we want and give thanks for it, we can trust that it’s on its way.
“But give thanks for something we don’t even have yet?”
Yes—exactly that.
Heartfelt gratitude before the arrival is a powerful trigger. Think of gratitude as the lightning rod that sparks the process. When someone can truly feel grateful for something that hasn’t arrived yet—even something that feels opposite to what they’re currently experiencing—that’s when the Universe really kicks into motion. That’s what true faith looks like.
Here’s an important warning: Don’t let doubt slip in.
Doubt will wipe out your positive mental work and all that gratitude you’ve been cultivating. It pulls your desire right back into the spiritual realm—and suddenly you’re wondering why nothing happened. Don’t entertain doubt. Don’t wrestle with it. Don’t sit with it. When it shows up, notice it, thank it for the reminder, and immediately return to your vision and your gratitude. Speak your desire with confidence and conviction.
Let me share a simple story to bring this home.
My 10-year-old son loves earning money. He’s a natural saver, but every so often something catches his attention and he really wants it. When that happens, he goes all in—researching online, comparing prices, asking questions. He talks about it before bed and picks up right where he left off the next morning. He’s laser-focused, excited, and ready to receive. I always remind him to be grateful for it now and to picture himself enjoying it as if it’s already his.
Of course, as a child, he still needs Mom or Dad (in this case, us playing the role of the Universe) to approve the purchase and take him shopping. And I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought, “Alright, let’s go get this for him,” only to have him suddenly start complaining or whining about something. That tiny moment of negative energy instantly shuts down my momentum. Just like that—poof!—my “let’s go shopping” impulse disappears, and the thing he wanted? It’s not happening anymore.
It’s a simple example, but I hope you see how powerful our thoughts and energy really are. When we slip into doubt or negativity, we literally push away the very thing we were drawing toward us.
So the next time you deeply desire something, remember these four simple steps:
-
Create the image clearly in your mind.
-
Express ongoing gratitude—before it arrives.
-
Cast out all doubt and negativity.
-
Expect to receive it. Believe in faith.
Put this to the test. You’ll see for yourself how understanding—and applying—the Law of Perpetual Transmutation can truly enhance your life.
