There have been moments in my life when I’ve found myself on my knees, pleading with God for answers. One day in particular stands out—a day when I was desperately praying to know how to help my child. He was struggling—school, friendships, life in general—and I felt helpless. I didn’t know what to do, but I believed, deep down, that God did.

I prayed and prayed… and yet, it felt like no answer was coming.

Later that week, I happened to listen to a speaker who shared thoughts on the importance of daily repentance. It struck me—I couldn’t remember the last time I had truly taken time to repent, to ask for God’s forgiveness. That realization shifted something in me. I paused my pleading and instead began to thank God—for everything. For my family, my life, the small and big things I had so often overlooked.

As I leaned into gratitude, the list kept growing. Blessing after blessing came to mind, and I kept going until I couldn’t think of anything else to thank Him for. Only then did I begin to ask for forgiveness—for the mistakes I’d made in the past week and beyond. As I went through each moment, each regret, I could feel myself drawing closer to Him. I felt His love, His forgiveness, almost as if His arms were wrapping around me. And in that sacred stillness, I began to pray again for help with my son.

Almost immediately, the answers began to flow.

It wasn’t until I later read the book Hidden Treasures that I began to understand what had happened on a deeper level. The book introduced me to the 'Law of Vibration,’ and I realized that I had aligned myself with God's frequency—through gratitude, through repentance, through love. And once I was in that place of alignment, I could finally hear His answers.
