All things are in a constant state of vibration. Science confirms that every substance—liquid, solid, or gas—is made up of molecules in perpetual motion. Not only does everything vibrate, but each thing carries its own unique frequency, much like a color has its own wavelength or a musical note its own pitch. This vibration is more than just motion—it’s a medium for sending signals, a form of communication.

So, can this law apply to our thoughts? Absolutely. Our minds are powerful, creative tools. As James Allen said:
“The outer conditions of a person’s life will always be found to be harmoniously related to his inner state… The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors; that which it loves, and also that which it fears… Men do not attract that which they want, but that which they are.”

If I want to change my outer world, I must begin by changing my inner one—my thoughts, my beliefs, my vibration. When I think new thoughts or allow in fresh ideas, I shift my mental state. That shift changes my vibration. And by law, I begin to draw in physical experiences that match that new vibration. I start to align with the very things I once only wished for.

But most of us go through life on autopilot, letting our subconscious steer. We rarely pause to direct our thoughts intentionally. And as long as we stay unaware, we stay aligned with surroundings we don’t want—until, one day, we make a conscious choice to change our vibration and begin to resonate with something better.

While I was developing my mentoring course, I made a habit of reserving a free room at the Public Library to study and write without home distractions. Over time, though, I began to feel out of sync there. One day, I showed up late, and my room had been given to someone else. What seemed like an inconvenience turned out to be a blessing. I ended up at a local restaurant with a quiet back room—and to my surprise, I loved it. The atmosphere felt more energizing and uplifting than the library ever had. I believe my vibration had something to do with that shift. As I poured energy into becoming a mentor, my vibration rose—and it naturally led me to a space that matched the version of me I was becoming.

Along the way, I also discovered something else: our minds are full of limiting beliefs—those quiet, persistent thoughts we’ve accepted as truth that quietly hold us back. These beliefs lower our vibration and block us from tuning into the frequencies where our desires exist. And because they often operate beneath our awareness, they can run our lives on autopilot.

One big stumbling block for me was the belief: “I never finish anything.” It sounds innocent—almost like a joke. But I said it often and, deep down, I believed it. And because I believed it, I made it true. I sabotaged myself again and again. Every time I started a project, I’d lose interest, get discouraged, or convince myself it wasn’t meant to be. My house became a museum of half-finished crochet, knitting, sewing, and craft projects. My yard? Still an unfinished DIY zone. I even catch myself, now and then, joking that I’m the Queen of Unfinished Projects.

I had business ideas that had real potential, but I dismissed them because, well—I was a college dropout, and who was I to run a business?

Those beliefs kept me stuck in a vibration that made it impossible to follow through on my goals. It’s taken me years—and a lot of inner work—to uncover and uproot beliefs that only felt true because I had unknowingly conformed to them.

Now, I’m raising my vibration. I’m letting go of the stories that kept me small, and I’m embracing a new reality—one where I finish what I start, believe in my ideas, and trust that I’m qualified to create something meaningful.
