Here’s a little throwback to the 10-year anniversary of when I first started writing about the Rare Faith principles:

This journey has brought so many highs, but I’ve also had my fair share of lows—disappointments, frustrations, and moments of total defeat. I still hit brick walls. I still get mad. And yes, there are still days when all I want is to hide under the covers and disappear for a while.

Again and again, I’m tested on what I know to be true. And again and again—after wrestling through doubt and trial—the truth holds firm. It proves itself all over again.

I hope that someday I’ll have internalized it all so deeply that I won’t need to keep going through the refiner’s fire, each time hotter than the last. Maybe, just maybe, one day my Maker will look at this work-in-progress and say, “It is finished.”

One thing that always helps me rise, dust myself off, and begin again is revisiting the materials I created ten years ago—back when I was simply excited, feeling invincible, and applying the principles with childlike faith and unshaken expectation. Back then, I believed the principles were simple, so the process had to be simple too.

And in many ways, that raw enthusiasm worked. Success came almost predictably because I believed, and that belief carried me.

But as time went on, the challenges got bigger. That innocent faith had to be joined by grit and unrelenting determination.

Eventually, I began digging up some of those early trainings I had forgotten about. And something beautiful happened. The older, more tired version of me started learning from the younger me—the one who still believed anything was possible.

It awakened something in me. It restored my faith in the process, in myself, and in the Lord who continues to walk with me.

I found the strength to dream again. And with that renewed inspiration, I wanted to make it easier for you to feel that same boost.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out—
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit—
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

So let’s stay the course—together.

We tend to overcomplicate things. But truthfully? It’s simpler than we think. Wake up again. Come see for yourself.
