Book Launch and New Glasses

Meet Adrian Booher, Mindset Mastery Graduate
Adrian’s journey through the Mindset Mastery course shows how patience, faith, and intentional action can transform fear into confidence, help overcome limiting beliefs, and empower her to complete long-term goals while embracing joy and trust in God’s timing.
Phase 1 Goal - Inconsequential Goal:
Adrian’s inconsequential goal started with a minor frustration: her new glasses were delayed due to a lab shortage. She wrote out and imagined receiving them by Thursday, just three days later. Thursday came and went without her glasses, but she resisted frustration.
The next day, an unexpected situation with her son’s locked car key gave Adrian the perfect opportunity to pick up her glasses efficiently. She visualized the outcome, stayed calm, and trusted the process. When she arrived at the optometrist, the glasses had just arrived, timing perfectly aligned. Adrian laughed in gratitude:
“I got my glasses! ❤️ It was such a simple goal, but the experience reminded me that even small intentions can manifest when I trust the timing and flow of God’s plan.”
Phase 2 Goal - Bite-Sized Piece of Short-Term Goal:
Adrian’s bite-sized piece of her larger goal was completing her workbook after two years of careful writing, revisions, and research. She picked March 29, 2025, to have it fully complete.
“I had been rethinking and reworking for years, struggling to finalize the last chapter. Choosing a focused date gave me clarity and purpose. I asked a knowledgeable friend to review it, and her input gave me the confidence to finalize the work. Time alone during a trip to my daughter’s apartment became a perfect writer’s retreat, letting me focus without distractions. By 11 PM, it was done!”
This experience taught Adrian that perfection isn’t necessary for success, action and faith bring results. The workbook completion also strengthened her belief in her ability to receive guidance, collaborate, and create meaningful work that serves others.
Facing Fear - Lesson 18 Outcome:
Adrian faced a long-standing fear while planning her book launch party: that people wouldn’t show up, stemming from childhood disappointments. Through the workbook exercises in Lesson 18, she actively challenged this fear with visualization, affirmations, and faith:
“I reminded myself that past fears are irrelevant and focused on serving, connecting, and bringing value. I visualized a positive, joyful crowd and trusted that Heavenly Father had prepared everything for the good of all participants.”
Terror Barrier Breakthrough:
“Yes! I faced the fear of public response and visibility. Instead of anxiety, I now feel joy and anticipation. The book launch went beautifully, and I’m motivated as both a writer and speaker. I realized that fear is permeable and can be overcome by faith, preparation, and action.”
Advice for Facing Fear:
“Face it head-on! Even if fear comes to pass, it’s not the end, it’s part of life’s journey. Breathe deeply, focus on the joy on the other side of the barrier, and use whatever tools you need to move through it. It’s more permeable than it looks.”
